After breakfast, we will transfer to Celestún, one of Yucatán’s greatest eco-tourism paradises, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Biosphere Reserve. During a boat tour, you’ll have the opportunity to observe pink flamingos and a variety of birds, explore the mangroves, and enjoy a Mayan bath. In a shallow area of the sea, you can collect some clay and use it to exfoliate your skin. To conclude, you’ll enjoy a delicious meal by the sea (included) and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing on the beach.

Return to Mérida

We’ll continue our journey until we reach the center of Campeche, where aboard a tram, you’ll be transported on a journey through the centuries, discovering the city’s most important historical sites and monuments.

Afterward, you’ll have free time to stroll around and explore the city center and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Fuerte San Miguel, home to the Mayan Archaeology Museum, and the Artisan Bazaar, where you can admire the diversity, beauty, and quality of handicrafts from the municipalities of Calkiní, Hopelchén, Campeche, Carmen, Champotón, Hecelchakán, Tenabo, and Dzitbalché.

To conclude the day, we’ll watch the sunset at the Campeche Malecón and then return to Mérida.

After breakfast, we will depart for a beautiful 17th-century hacienda, where activities such as livestock farming, agriculture, and henequen cultivation were carried out. Accompanied by a guide, you’ll explore the hacienda and learn about its history, as well as swim in the crystal-clear waters of its two cenotes, where Empress Carlota herself once bathed.
