Day 1: MAYA TRAIN

Pickup at your accommodation

Transfer to the Maya Train station

Premier class train ride on the Maya Train to Chichén Itzá (without guide or escort)

We will be waiting for you at the train station to immerse ourselves in the Mayan culture by visiting one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World – Chichén Itzá. Accompanied by a local guide, you will visit the Temple of Kukulkán and the other magnificent structures of this archaeological site.

Afterward, you will enjoy an ancestral experience at a Mayan Sanctuary, where you’ll be welcomed with a traditional copal ceremony, visit a typical Mayan house, take part in a workshop to make regional condiments (recados), and swim in the crystal-clear waters of a cenote. You’ll also enjoy a simple but delicious lunch (included).

In the afternoon, we’ll head to Valladolid for your overnight stay.
Day 2: LAS COLORADAS

Early in the morning, we’ll depart for Las Coloradas, where you’ll admire the stunning pink waters of the salt flats, learn about the sea salt production process, and capture some spectacular photos of this unique natural wonder.

Afterward, we’ll head to Río Lagartos, where you’ll board a boat to explore the mangroves and observe a wide variety of birds, such as flamingos, herons, and ospreys. You’ll enjoy the beautiful scenery and experience a traditional Mayan bath.
Day 3: MAGIC TOWN OF IZAMAL

After breakfast, we’ll head to the Magic Town of Izamal, where you’ll explore the city with a local expert guide. Enjoy the yellow and white hues of this picturesque and elegant town — a lively and charming place, perfect for strolling through its peaceful streets and admiring its colonial mansions, small squares, and iconic corners.

Day 4: MÉRIDA

After midday, we’ll transfer to a traditional restaurant, where you’ll learn about the preparation of one of the state’s typical dishes, cochinita pibil, and have the opportunity to taste the delicious Yucatecan cuisine.
